BISMARCK action) (Survivor picked up by Legion after 12 hours on a Carley Float and discharged to HMS
Victory taking passage in HMS Rodney) Was behind the funnel when the torpedo hit. One of two crew who
disarmed the depth charges on the Quarterdeck. Left the RN at the end of the war and worked as an electrician for
NHS hospitals in the Southampton area.Died 22 December 2005
